This is my moan, rant, whatever!

To whom it may concern,

I have been reading very dispariging comments about people who write blogs. An example of this is from Andrew Marr. He described those who blog as seeming " ... socially inadequate, pimpled, single, slightly seedy, bald, cauliflower-nosed young men sitting in their mother's basements and ranting. They are very angry people."

Also he said that 'citizen journalism' is '"spewings and rantings of very drunk people late at night"

I also know that he is not alone is his less than generous views of bloggers. That is why I am here. I feel that there are many bloggers who have intelligent things to say. I will admit that on more than one occasion I have used the net to rant on. But then. I think that in some ways that will always be the case.

That having been said, there are some wonderful blogs out there if you go out and look for them.  Don't judge us all by the bad ones, go out and look for the good ones. Maybe you might just find something that will change the way you think.
